Camellia oil is refined with the raw material wild camellia fruit in the western hill district of Zhejiang Province. It belongs to green, non-harm and pure natural product.

Camellia oil is refined for six procedures relying on the high-tech provided by Tea Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It has won the quality supervision and inspection certificate of Ministry of Agriculture and the designated product of Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Oilseeds and Products of Ministry of Agriculture.

The components of Dongcha oil has been universally acknowledged quite similar to that of olive oil which is regarded as health oil. The reason is its unsaturated fatty acid which has the content in Dongcha oil of over 85%. The medical researches state that oleic acid and linoleic acid in unsaturated fatty acid have high value and can help reduce the content of cholesterol in blood and prevent blood vessels from cirrhosis and regulate blood fat; prevent the atherosclerosis, improve the anti-aging function of human body; improve the diseases of habitual constipation and deteriorating neural function and is beneficial for enhance the nutrition level and human immune if it is taken for a long time.

Camellia oil bears high temperature and will not produce smoke or harmful substance benzene when heated to 205.
